Kansas City Royals Remove Catcher Brandon Fowler from Idaho Falls Chukars Roster

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – After joining the Chukars in Orem Utah on August 1st, catcher Brandon Fowler was reassigned on August 4th. Fowler never made an appearance in a game during his time with the Chukars and continues to bounce around the Royals’ minor league system looking for playing time.

Fowler was drafted out of high school in 2007. The 45th round draft pick did not play professionally last summer, as he didn’t sign his contract until close to the deadline in August. This summer he saw limited action with the Surprise Royals before being called up to Idaho Falls. At the plate in Surprise, Fowler was 2-for-6 in only five games played.

Fowler was sent back to Arizona, where he will continue to battle for playing time.
